New lectureship in Mathematics at Birkbeck, University of London

There is a new lectureship in Mathematics at Birkbeck, University of London with a projected starting date of September 1, 2009, or as soon as possible thereafter. Candidates from all areas of pure mathematics are invited to apply.

Salary: £33,501 rising to £38,376 per annum inclusive of London Allowance.

This job is full time and permanent. The closing date for completed applications is Friday 1st May 2009.

Interviews are due to be held towards the end of May.

Birkbeck is the UK’s leading provider of part-time evening education. This means that almost all your teaching takes place on two evenings a week, which gives a good deal of uninterrupted time in the day for research.
